Why Laughter Really IS the Best Medicine!

You've probably heard it said before, but here are some pretty cool reasons why laughter REALLY IS the best medicine! For one thing, it's completely FREE, and can be done just about anytime, anywhere! Plus,

  • It has no side-effects.

  • There are no contra-indications.

  • It doesn't cause allergic reactions.

  • It's okay to mix with your existing medications.

  • There's no limit on a safe dose--you can have as much as you like, as often as you like!

  • It doesn't make your hair fall out.

  • It won't cause a rash.In fact, it creates its very own natural "pharmaceutical cocktail," made by your own body and brain, for your benefit and well-being!! It produces feel-good neurotransmitters, including dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins!

It also

  • Strengthens your immune system

  • Increases your capacity to cope

  • Has the power to heal you at the cellular level

And not only that, it even

  • Reduces your stress level

  • Decreases your perception of pain

  • Lowers your blood pressure

  • Causes a relaxation response in your body, lowering your cortisol level (aka, the stress hormone)

  • Helps you sleep better

  • Oxygenates your blood and all your cells

  • Can help with depression

  • Helps you think more clearly
